 We all like a little adventure in our lives once
in a while, and kids are certainly no exception.
This explains why action and adventure toys

toys may evolve with the times, but action and
adventure are clearly here to stay. Do you know

Imagination
When a child picks up an action figure, his mind
begins to race with stories that he can act out

those action figures to interact with one
another. Your children will develop their
language skills and problem solving techniques

Emotional Development
Your child can also use action and adventure
toys to work through emotions. For example, if
your child witnesses an unsettling scene, he
might use his action figures to help him come to
grips with the situation. If there is a doctor
or dentist appointment coming up that your child
is apprehensive about, you can use his action
figures to act out the appointment and give him
a better idea of what to expect.
There are many great action and adventure toys
on the market that your child is sure to love.
Transformers are one of the newest action
figures, but classics like Spiderman and Shrek
are still big draws as well. For those kids who
prefer a little less action in their adventure,
try Thomas the Tank Engine, zoo or farm sets or
figures from any Disney movie. Girls still enjoy
Barbie, but Bratz have become a popular
commodity as well.
